Commandment #10 "Thou shall not covet...." played into my heart and my mind in an extra special way last weekend. Most of you all know about the "R-ing" (Robbing) of the Shasta white trailer and the miracle of "Maid Room Heist" that happened last weekend. God supplied more than enough houseboat inventory to cover what was taken and then some. While Dylan and I were loading the houseboat and unloading the maid's room, the temptation to covet our "precious new inventory" began to knock at my heart.
What a funny sequence of "felt" circumstances in such a short period of time. I experienced the hurt, anger, and disappointment of the stolen shed and inventory one week, the joy of generosity from people the following week who wanted to help bridge the gap of what was stolen, to the lure of coveting God's gracious gift of inventory!
