What stood out to me in this message was that our sexual desire is a symptom of our deeper desire for God. No wonder our world struggles with this so much. We have an intense craving for God, yet we try to fill that craving with other things and are left wanting more.
I read this quote this week that said, "Freedom doesn't come through head knowledge, but by letting the words of God seep so deeply into your soul that you intimately know them to be true." So I'm reflecting on these truths: I have a creator who loves me fiercely and unconditionally. He is the only one who satisfies fully.
