The main thing is to do what?!?!?!?! Just say AMEN!

I have preached that message maybe 25 times in my life.  I preached Jesus as the main thing at schools, churches, Sonshine, and even wedding ceremonies.  The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing....and that is the hardest thing to do!

WHY?  Why is it so hard to keep Jesus the "Main thing"?  I know for me in my life I have this dark need and desire at times to be the main thing.  A Game Of Thrones if you will is played for my heart, family, and future.  The game goes like this....
Rules:
* An event that is to big for Reid to "handle"  = Jesus is ushered to the throne
* An event that Reid can "handle" = Reid is ushered to the throne

Wow, this game looks a lot like Abraham's life decisions!  I am reminded of the disciples and every time these professionals were in their element / on their thrones (this usually happened when they were on a boat) Jesus would frustrate them to the point of fear, lack of faith, starvation, and almost death.  Each time Jesus would gently usher them down off the thrones of their lives and take His rightful position.

The Main Thing is to keep JESUS the main thing.  Jesus, usher us down and take your rightful postion as Lord and Savior of our lives!

JUST SAY AMEN!
